Denge paced back and forth along the ledge of the falls, her tail constantly flickering back and forth. How could she have done this to Ithi! She'd lost Fedha! Her precious Fedha... their precious Fedha'Kialio! Denge did not actually realize that Fedha had run off on his own. But why did she have to bring him outside of these safe lands! Into those cruel, horrible... ugly lands.
Little did she know that they would not be able to stay in the Umande'mfuni lands much longer. She sighed and swallowed hard, controlling her paws to bring her back to the dens. She had to tell Ithi, it was just a matter of working up the courage.

Ithi was out hunting, out of the lands as usual. She rarely hunted in the prides lands as there was much more outside.
She was dragging a small dead creature with her as she made her way upto the den. She wasn't built like a leopard so didn't find the climbing so easy but she did it eventually. She didn't stop though not till the food was safely in the den, only then did she drop it and pant. The kids would be back for dinner soon, they normally were.

Denge just caught the last of the prey being dragged into the den. So Ithi was there. Denge hesitated in her step, her tail flicking and her ears flattening against her skull, eyes troubled. She had to do it! She moved forward, bringing herself into the den. "Ithi..." Her voice was quiet and troubled, almost like a reprimanded cub.

Ithi's ears pricked up as she turned around and saw her darling Denge. "Hello! Did you and Fedah enjoy your trip?" She let out a purr like rumble and rushed to nuzzle her mate. Not realising the nervousness in Denge's voice.

As Ithi nuzzled into her she relaxed slightly, it was just something that happened when she was around her beloved. Despite herself she also let out a little purr, and then stepped away, sitting down. "Ithi he's gone." She breathed out, not bothering to back into the situation. "One night we went to sleep and the next morning he was not there! I looked and looked... He wasn't in the area Ithi, and he didn't come back to our spot!" Her toes were flexing, claws moving in and out. She was trying her hardest to stay still, and calm.

Ithi just stared at Denge, "He probably just wandered off. Either way, he isn't the worst of our problems. There are problems here Denge, lots of problems and I want our children out of these lands. We can find Fedah but first we must find the others and leave!" She looked at Denge and smiled, "Eat something, you look like you need it."

It was true, Denge had been growing skinnier. Mostly it was from her trip back from the outlands, she hadn't eaten a thing once she'd realized Fedha was gone. But their cubs that were still here had to eat! "I will find something soon.. I don't want to steal the children's share.." She murmered.
Leave. She still wasn't sure if she'd heard that word or not. "Where will we go?" Her voice was breathy, almost as if she was having trouble finding it. She took a few deep breaths. "When?"

"Eat something, they have probably eaten already. Dhar has been catching mice to eat for ages. Eat Denge." She spoke slightly harshly to her mate and would possibly attack her if she didn't do what she was told to.
"We will leave soon, where we will go, I dont know yet there will be somewhere but we will have to wander first. The children are old enough to follow easy enough." She spoke slightly rushed. "I dont know whats going on but there is a edgy feel about the place, I don't like it."

Denge's eyes widened a little and she cringed. It wasn't often that Ithi spoke to her like this. Silently she moved forward and began to eat some of the prey. How much would still be considered a little, but Ithi would be happy that she'd eaten?
Her tail flicked as she thought everything over. Right now her world was falling to pieces, these lands were her world. She had found them... and now she was being shoved away from them again. How the gods teased her! "Follow us?" Her head snapped up and she looked rather worried again. "Ithi you just said we should find them!" She didn't want to leave her other three behind!

She nodded, "We should find them, I refuse to leave our children here. We will find somewhere safe because here isn't safe anymore. All you ever hear are rumours of Nyek and then how the Firekin are growing, its not right, we must find somewhere safe for our children." She spoke quickly as she walked out the cave, scanning the area.
"The children won't be far, they rarely go too far away!" She looked back at Denge and smiled. "I love you Denge, thats why we must think about us now and Fedah later." She became a little bit calmer but now Denge was back, they had to leave.

Denge nodded slowly. She was like a child in understanding this. She did not like most of it, so she was trying to tell herself it wasn't true. When Ithi brought up Nyek Denge looked positively sick, and moved back from the food. She slipped out of the cave, breathing hard for a moment. She hated him, hated! "Should we split up and find them, then meet back here?" She asked slowly.
Denge was both pleased and not so pleased with Ithi's next words. Denge loved Ithi as well, but she loved their cubs too! True only Nya was part of her blood line, but the other three were part of her even if she had no part in their creation. "I love you too Ithi. And I love our children." She murmered softly.

Ithi licked at Denges head and smiled. "I know where our little black girl is, she is waiting on the borders, I will find Dhar and you find Ny, though if we see the other first then grab them." She sighed and looked sad suddenly. "I wish things weren't like this..." She looked at the sky and the scorching sun and just smiled.

Denge nodded and pressed into Ithi a moment, licking at her neck lightly. "Hopefully things will grow better." She murmered. "What about Rahima, do we tell her we're leaving?" After a moment she pulled away, ready to begin searching for little Nya, the runt.

"I think Rahima has left, I know her youngsters have." She smiled at Denge and stepped away a bit. "I shall see you soon love, then we can find a new home and then our little run away."

Denge nodded again. "Mm." She breathed as she moved away, slipping into the greenary around them to look in the most common spots for Nya.
