We're doing something right here, because within 2 days we received 5 new membership requests- good work comrades, we haven't had this sort of attention in weeks!

I told a couple of people to join, but I don't know if they did. sweatdrop
Anyway, I've noticed that a lot of people not in the guild (or in another) have communist/socialist symbols in their signatures and profiles lately.

while it is good we have simp's, it is more important that we give these people an ideology that is completly in accordance with that of the guild.
now, yes, i know that there is a great range of ideas here, there is me, anarchoids, and just leftists, but the fact is, the guild needs a coherent ideology, i would like it to be mine, but i realise that would not be the case, so i propose that we should try and formalise the guild's stance on pretty much everything.
only in this way will the guild be able to create a unified obstacle to reaction.

Well, that'd be hard to do without limiting our membership capabilities- what I'd recommend gracchvs is for this type of energy and desire, and for all those who have it, to truly move into the political sphere in this way. As Gaia will never be able to serve as the foundation of any party, my true recomendation would be to look into doing this with and for the communist/socialist or other proletarian parties within our respective nations.

Besides, diversity of opinion isn't necessarily a bad thing. We all, in general, have the same final vision. We just vary on ways to get there.

Even with our differing veiws, I'm sure we'd all be comrades-in-arms together against reactionary forces. We should not make the mistake of one monolithic party. It leaves no room for growth and change.
Be more active in your local party, but don't be irritating to the people. Play it cool. When was the last Internationale?

It depends on wether or not you recognized the Soviet Comintern, the 4th internationale or Trotsky, or if you consider these new "social forums" to be communist internationls.
