Kain Wynd Haruka_amaya Here's what I think... They look just like us, they're human-like and totally fit in with us. If we see their ship, why WOULDN'T they land? They wouldn't go through space all the way over to our little planet just to show off their ships. And if they look weird and stood out we would've spotted one once they go into populated areas. They look human, but they have yet to copy our troubled personalities. I get this information from the psychic, Sylivia Browne. She is very accurate in her readings, mind you, and said on TELEVISION that aliens are real. She also said she has met a few, and look JUST like us. what I have said in the above paragraph is basically what she said. So I have psychic proof about this... No, you have someone's word that aliens exist, not necessarily psychic proof. Psychic proof only applies if you used your own psychic abilities to determine their existence and then developed a tangible method for proving said contacts. Just because seeing it on television does not make it real. twisted Plato would say that the only way to 'know' anything is to experience. It's the only point he ever made that I agree with.

Blue_Boy_06 To be honest, I think they look like whatever we want them to. I have a feeling they do something to sense what might freak us out the most and they take that form. I just don't think they're short, green people with large eyes, you know? They can me anything or anyone! ninja I don't know if you read/watch Harry Potter...but that sounds like a boggart...they take the form of whatever you fear the most. That is a really cool theory...I never thought of that. smile

I think what an alien looks like just depends on where they are from, what they are capable of, their environment...etc. They don't have to even be intelligent. They could be the equivalent of (or rather have the mentality of) an animal on earth.

Tooth^Brush Well from my reading, Aliens look and "act" just like us biggrin They dont want us for brains,or other things you may think,they only want to find out about humans,and expand their research.Just like our researchers here on Earth! 4laugh Ya, but they're a lot smarter. I've seen her on TV and I've run into the same stuff she has just by the saps who she's reading from. Sylvia Browne is a hoax and I demand anyone who wants to argue against me to prove me wrong in any reasonable fashion. I just want you to think about the questions you're asking and the theory you're proposing. You're saying to me by this post that you honestly believe that IF there are ETs and they HAPPEN to be benevolent (friendly) and they know exactly where we are that they would possibly land just to say hello? We are ugly creatures. We commit genocide. We do ugly, hideous, evil things to each other that the most savage, deranged animals would not even possibly be able to commit acts even close to what we do. What benevolent, advanced group of ETs would ever in their right minds want to enter into our own personal HELL ON EARTH AMUSEMENT PARK? I hate to burst your bubble, but we pose far more of a threat to the universe than any concievable ET. Our taint is better left restricted to this planet, this plane of existance. Bloom where you are planted.

Giving the aliens a bad image about us. Makes me wonder if they ever got those gold plated discs that was with those probes.

Bear in mind that there are many ways to interpret "alien;" technically, anyone with a soul not of this Earth could be mistaken as an extraterrestrial. "Alien" just means you aren't where you originated. Personally, I think Sylvia Browne tells people what they want to hear. Humans want /i] to hear that there are creatures that not only act like them, but have assimilated well and don't mean any harm. As proficient a psychic she may be, it doesn't mean she's honest.
While a humanoid form is likely for beings that can build a space-ship, "just like us" is a bit much. Personally, I support the whole reptoid (reptilian humanoid) theory. There have been a few sightings of those, and I wouldn't be surprised if they had concealment technology far beyond human imagination.
And yeah, exactly why would they want to visit Earth? They could just fly by and be all "Hey, this planet supports life! Oh, wait...It's dying. Screw that."
