Okay, so I've been studying engineering, physics, geometry, etc. independently for about 3 years, yes? Well, I recently started getting really annoyed with the makeshift ineffeciency of standard DDR pads, and I thought, "Damn it, I could do way better than that!" and I did. I have a rough design now that would take 10x the beating of a CF and would use no more technology than my house's burglar alarm. So, you may be wondering, "And how the hell will this get you a CF?" And I have an answer: Complete a detailed blueprint, get a beta version built, have some noteworthy DDR players (1un4r, this means you're taking another trip to Portland.) come test it and write reviews for it, mail a business offer to CF with copies of the reviews, hope they're willing to buy my obviously superior design for at least $2000 (preferably a lot more, since it would make the CF infinitely better), then buy a CF AND have more money for college.
So, two things: 1 -- Beta testers, anyone? (I'm in the Portland, OR area, for those of you who haven't caught on) 2 -- Do you think I'm just some crazy long-haired weirdo who's not thinking clearly at all, or might this actually work? Three things: 3 -- Should I tweak the design so that people to buy a set of little things that can be used to upgrade their old pads too? Would that be worth it? Would YOU buy it?

1.What exactly would make it better than a CF?
2. can you post a picture of it?
3. are you sure someone is gonna fly to oregon to test it?

Shad0wlord 1.What exactly would make it better than a CF? 2. can you post a picture of it? 3. are you sure someone is gonna fly to oregon to test it? I live there as well, I'm all the test subject he needs. pirate I'm curious how exactly you'd be able to improve on the CF too.

OOOOH question #4- if you want a CF, but your making a better pad, why bother submitting it to CF...

Shad0wlord OOOOH question #4- if you want a CF, but your making a better pad, why bother submitting it to CF... Because, I can't get quality materials. Also, I want money just as much as I want a CF. Why not get both in one fell swoop? surprised
