The Others don't want Jack, Sawyer, and Kate at all. What if they knew that if they took them, that Sayid would come after them by boat with Jin and Sun. What if they mean for Hurley to run into Sayid on his way back. Suppose Hurley and Sayid get Jin, and the three of them go to recuse Jack, Sawyer, and Kate, leaving Sun with the boat. What if the Others want Sun.
Wow, now that I typed that out, it sounds really ridiculous...
Still, anybody think I'm not entirely insane?

I kind of think that could happen. But maybe then again they could actually be going after Sayid? Huh... Huh? Lol. I think that that overall could be a possibilty.

thats actually pretty plausible, they wanted Claire because she was pregnant, it could be the same senario w/ Sun...

I doubt that. Sun isn't as important as she seems. Claire was preggers too. Ya know.

Wow. You're totaly right, though. It could happen. As someone else said, they wanted Claire because she was pregnant, and same with Sun, it could happen.

In the preview for next ep, henry didin't know about the boat. And why would Sun come along for the rescue? Wouldn't the others think that just the guys would come to rescue them?

Yeah, after seeing the new episode and the scenes from the next, I realize that this theory is even less likely than before. It looked like the others were shooting at Sun! eek I hope she doesn't get hurt/killed!

They probably don't know she's pregnant yet. I suspect that they will find out eventually, and will do somethiing about it then. The only reason I can think of that they wouldn't take her is because she is more likely to kill some of them than Claire was, and if the whole purpose of them taking her is to enlarge they're group, it would be rather pointless to let many of them get killed. I dunno.
