Has anyone taken the kanji kentei before? It's like, an exam for kanji.
Level 10 being the easiest, and Level 1 being impossible.
I've taken 8,7,6, and I'm going to do 5 this year.
Anyone heard of such exam?

I haven't but I know that the JLPT has about 80 or so kanji that you need to know. Level 4 being easiest and 2 being hardest with 1 being for those who really know the language well.
Can you tell me how I can take it too?

If there's a Japanese school near your house, or whatever, that'll be great. You should ask them about it. I'm thinking those 80 would be the first grade kanji, since they have about 80 of them...? Anyways, you have to actually contact Japan through an organization, such as a Japanese school... I think.

I think its because JPLT isn't actually in association with the Japanese schools or have a similar standard as the Japanese schooling. I have heard of it, but I don't intend on taking it because we don't have a Japanese school here that teaches everything you need to know anymore. The closest you get is college Japanese

DaisyLovers243 Ohhh I see. Then I guess kanji kentei's out of the question eh... xd But it's really cool once you know a lot of Japanese!!!
I still wish there was a test I could take that was just for kanji.
