Vanestra elwine You know in the Sorcerer's Stone, the stone is in vault 713. I don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but 7 is the most magical number. And 13 is an unlucky number. Wouldn't the stone be considered a blessing and a curse at the same time?
Sorry if this was brought up already. sweatdrop I think you can never read too far into something. Thats a great point made i never thought of that before. Good Job! You're right, I never noticed that! I wonder if that was intentional. It probably was.
As far as reading too far into things though, I think it is possible simply because of an English teacher I had. She made us read House on Mango street and was under the impression that photographers use white gloves because it symbolizes Michael Jackson. Then she had a moonwalk contest. Goofy sophomore English teachers... Anyway. I'm babbling now. Sorry!

I never read that either... was it good? I'm always on the lookout for a good read!
And I've tried moonwalking, and I have come to the conclusion that I can only do it in a neverending river at a water park (the curent carries me, so all I have to do is move my feet)

Haha! Nah didn't win, I can't dance to save my life. All I can do is waltz... And jump up and down which I guess is a new dance craze.... ^^ Personally I didn't have an opinion on it. It wasn't all that great, but it could have been because it was a school book and I might have had a completely different take on it had it not been taught by my crazy English teacher, so I dunno. It's a quick read, I'll give it that, but any symbolism or cool plot was stripped off by the curriculum, as always. WOOT FOR MOONWALKING AT WATERPARKS! Have you ever tried pulling yourself around a whirlpool the wrong way? It's so much fun...
