The Program is a hella good football movie. Slapshot is great, but what astounded me was how vulgar it was...which is saying something cause I tend to think I'm one of the more vulgar people alive. ^^ Rudy was a good one, as was Caddyshack. Eight Men Out is a great baseball movie. I don't tend to care about the basketball movies cause you have schlock like Like Mike or Juwanna Man or Eddie. Blech.

Here are mine (for each sport):
Ice Hockey - Slapshot (original), Miracle On Ice, Mystery Alaska, The Rocket (amazing movie about Maurice Richard).
Football - Remember the Titans, Brian's Song (saddest movie ever), The Longest Yard (the original), The Waterboy, The Program, Rudy (inspirational like Remember the Titans and Brian's Song), Varsity Blues.
Baseball - Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, Eight Men Out, Major League (first one is great), The Natural.

Remember the Titans and Any Given Titans. I also found that I've not seen many of the "Classic" sports movies(Rudy, Eight Men Out, Bull Duhram, The Natural, the list goes on) so my list is pretty short.

My two favorites are The Natural, and Field of Dreams. But The Natural has one of my favorite actors of all time in it so it wins.

My favorite movies by sports category...
Hockey: Miracle, Slapshot (original), The Rocket (amazing), Mystery Alaska, Youngblood.
Baseball: Eight Men Out, Field of Dreams (for any player who has ever had a catch with his father..), The Natural (a classic), Bang the Drum Slowly, For the Love of The Game, The Sandlot (original), A League of Their Own, The Winning Team (1952 film staring Regan and Doris Day), Fear Strikes Out (another 50's film. A powerful story of Jimmy Piersall overcoming mental illness).
Football: Remember the Titans, Friday Night Lights, We Are Marshall, The Program, Any Given Sunday, Brian's Song, Rudy.
Basketball: Hoosiers, Glory Road, Coach Carter, Celtic Pride, The Sixth Man, White Men Can't Jump.

I totally love The Longest Yard (unfortunately, I've only watched the Adam Sandler one >.<; ), I also like alot of the other sports movies, just I can't think of anything more right now.
