I don't know how many of you know who the scissor sisters are, and I dont know how many of you watched the brit awards, but for best international group of the year, greenday lost to them. Im extremely disgusted by the people who chose who wins because the first people to preform that night were the scissor sisters and they gave me a bad first impression. There was a singing barn and watermelons, the drummer was a hilbilly, the lead vocal had a chicken tail, there was a huge pink flamingo, and a few silver eggs with pink feet. If you know the scissor sisters, please tell me they're at least... acceptable. Please tell if you watched the Brits.

the brits25? they were just on thursday night on much. its a canadian station but they were probably on other stations as well

I like Scissor Sisters. Their music sucks but I like what they're doing.

Yellie (psst, Green Day needs a space. Sorry, I am being a spelling whore today...) I like Scissor Sisters. Their music sucks but I like what they're doing. If they're more poular than Green Day... *shrug* You shouldn't care about what other people think, dear. well... it was just a bad first impression, you would have had to see the pink flamingo and chicken tail to know what I'm talking about. Don't really care if they're more popular than Green Day or not, it just kinda pissed me off that when you see thier music sucks it really bugs you that they could win against Green Day, you know?

The brit awards are a publicity stunt organised by major record labels, it doesnt mean anything, its about selling records. Its a farce and always has been.

The scissor sisters? Quite novelty, like GLC or The Darkness or Electric Six even. They OOZE homosexuality, and one of their more better songs is Mary. Really for adults and mature teens really, fun, but a whole album of them I couldn't stand.

I know the scissor sistors, and they suck.. royally. Here are my thoughts;
They'res only one girl
Oh wait.. that guy who is one of the lead singers could very well be a girl. I've seen him in satin leotards (sp?) and silver sparkly ones too.
Meanwhile, there's a few guys in the back who look like they belong at a (really shitty) office party...
They are a shining example of why some underground bands... are meant to stay UNDERGROUND.

I've only ever heard them once... I didn't like it. And I seen them once on Going Coastal. They were too... uh... *thinking of a word* 'shuny' or my tastes.
