beaufleur Hmmmm .... that was a good reminder sis, thanks for posting that! In an aside, I wish we were STILL called the Way! (actually, there was a bad christian cult that used that back in the 80's .... they used little girls to tempt men into sexual sin to try to lure them into their cult O.O ..... which really made me mad! But I prefer something that simple to 'your a christian?? What denomination are you??' ... rolleyes .... I am a follower of Jesus Christ, pure and simple. That's what I tell people now! What the crap...That's horrible.

beaufleur I will be doing the sermon next Sunday based on this passage: 2 Corinthians 2:14-17 (Amplified Bible) 14But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ's victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere, 15For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which exhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing: 16To the latter it is an aroma [wafted] from death to death [a fatal odor, the smell of doom]; to the former it is an aroma from life to life [a vital fragrance, living and fresh]. And who is qualified (fit and sufficient) for these things? [Who is able for such a ministry? We?] 17For we are not, like so many, [like hucksters making a trade of] peddling God's Word [shortchanging and adulterating the divine message]; but like [men] of sincerity and the purest motive, as [commissioned and sent] by God, we speak [His message] in Christ (the Messiah), in the [very] sight and presence of God. I've always loved this scripture. Mmm... We smell like Jesus.

Recently I have thought about researching Messianic Jews. In highschool I was calling myself a Jesusist. exclaim But now I think it is about redeeming the nae of Christianity i the way that God ordained it. As much as I want to get away from the people and things that give Christianity a bad name, I don't want to create dissention. We've got enough of that.

But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Hahaha! blaugh

In this time of seasonal darkness, as we wait for the spring, let us ponder this truths:
