Didn't a big ol' giant spider cause the 3rd Doctor to regenerate? Maybe he's become arachnaphobic...


Hehe yeah I think it was actually because of the radiation from the crystals in the cave, but I think it was largely the spiders fault anyway. Oh god, did you see the episode after, when Tom Backer was all disorientated because he had just regenarated and he was all like... dressing as a viking and such... hehe.

Anyway, giant spiders sound pretty damn awesome, and it would be SO FUNNY if the Doctor was a full on arachnaphobic! (like me...)
