I don't even bother posting any threads that even remotely have anything to do with religion anywhere on Gaia, because people choose ignorance over understanding. I will have to, at some point, because now that I've said that I feel like I'm denying God. sad I'm thinking of posting one on the nature faith. It'll have to be in the ED though... in the religion subforum... **grumbles**

Yes, and what grinds my gears is that you can say something as simple as "God bless you" or "as a Christian I believe..." or anything with the words "Christian" and "God" and they'll automatically jump on you and say "STOP SHOVING YOUR BELIEFS DOWN MY THROAT!!!" scream type thing. What's funny is, while discrediting our beliefs, they're shoving theirs down OUR throats. neutral

I mean, I knoe there are many Christian guilds, but this is the only one I really like to be truthful.

Hayabashi 2 beaufleur Some of us think it's bias on the part of the people in charge!! I think so too. My Christianity: A Loving religion had the same thing happen to it after it got popular... That's the same thing that happened to Lethal's other threads, in the middle of them going great guns, they pulled them .... has to be on purpose. That really is too bad too.

I've tried pointing that out but they just go ballistic and really stop making any sense at all. After one go round with an atheist like that, he starting actually trying to understand, and we're friends now. Amazing.

I want to see how many people are concious of the fact. I'm prepared to meet a wall of flame, however, because I know that just because the patrons of the ED are generally more intelligent, they aren't necesarily more open-minded than the average person. On just about every thread I visit in the ED, even with evidence on the part of the thread poster, one of the first posts I see in each thread is one tearing apart the first post bit by bit and attacking each portion with extreme bias. It then boils down to them basically saying: "sources plz", even when there are sources there already. stare I could've gotten my thread going earlier, but right now I'm lazy. razz I wanna enjoy what's left of my summer, because I spent way too much of it worrying about things.

Ah .... Lethal's (our original leader on Gaia) post that began all this .... needs to be kept active .....
Last time Cooyah- spoke to him she found out he's married. ^^ We still miss him ......
