My absolute favorite character in anime/manga of all time would have to be Maes Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist! Give it up for the absolute coolest family man in anime/manga! How can you not love him? He's hyper, he's intellegent, he's got a great sense of humor, he knows when to be serious (although whether he does so or not is another matter), he cares about his family a lot, and...

Hey, I know someone who thinks Roy is the best! My best friend at school, who refers to herself as either Cherii or Ringo. Roy's a good character, I must admit, but I, personally, have to say that even Riza's cooler. *points out that Roy is the Flame alchemist*
