Prove to us you know real Ninjas, and not the AMV kind. I'll demonstrate...
You know to much about ninjas when...
You hope every episode has a Honzo Hatori refrence.
You complain about inacuracies in the shuriken used.
You refer to Naruto as being "like Ishikawa Goemon"

ugh, my best friend is like that only moreso. He knows how to make smoke bombs, owns all sorts of ninja related weapons, it gets so annoying sometimes! He can be such a freaking know-it-all about ninjas. I always have to remind him that it's a TV show, suspend your disbelief.

Yes, I'm well aware of the fact that, like your friend, I'm being a major dork here. So please, suspend your disbelief.
About the Hanzo Hatori thing... litteraly EVERY video game that has ninjas in it at least alludes to Hanzo. So why hasn't an anime thats all about ninjas? emo
And as for the actuall shurikens used by really ninjas... They looked REALLY lame. Just a pointy metal plug. About the only character who could pull it off is Shikamaru himself.
So please, humor me. 4laugh

He's talking about the pursuit of the history and practice of actual ninjutsu, as opposed to the animated and VERY unrealistic cartoon that we have come to know, love and create fanguilds for. Both are interesting, it just depends on weather you thrive on logic or imagination.
