Unless you get dead lucky at the Marketplace...but a lot of times lately people are cancelling the auctions if they don't like what they get. I almost got a Performance Rod for about half-price last week--except for the owner cancelling it after the time had expired!! scream

I just tried that new Word Bump game.
Played for a couple of hours & got about 200g. out of it! 3nodding
Never did see an Item Bonus Level in 27 levels, though! mad

I can't see the color very well right now, for one thing. And when the game speeds up I get a bit hyper & dyslexic-like; I put letters down in the wrong order. Very annoying. I'll probably never get far with this game, so they'd better continue to have rare events outside the game too! Haven't seen one in weeks.

I've only gotten one rare item during my whole time on Gaia., a wolf tail.
Item bonus only shows up on levels 30, 60, 90, etc. So far I've only gotten crappy items... all worth between 1 - 20 gold. After the item bonus level the game slows back down and it becomes easy again, so if I lose it will usually be on levels 20-29, 50-59, or 80-89.
If you didn't already know, you can hit the Return key instead of clicking on the "Submit Word" button. It saves a lot of time when you don't have to drag the mouse back and forth! The rainbow powerball is an easy way to get the item bonus, since it clears an entire column of letters, although using it once glitched the game on me.

Let us know when they quit dumping starter set items on those high levels, huh?
I heard they were still turning up all the way to level 120!
You should get increasingly decent items for getting so high in the game! 3nodding
