Triple Homicide
This is just my opinion but i saw Gordon rear-end Kenseth and i don't think Matt slowed down in front of Jeff. Jeff knew his car had been gaining half a second a lap on Matt so he should have seen that coming.
That's your opinion, and I respect it.
My Opinion; Both had been saving fuel, and Jeff had crossed the line to where he could run flat out and be OK, while Matt still had to conserve, which let Jeff catch Matt. Matt comes up on the lap car, and (pick your own here)
A. gets bottled up passing the lap car
B. engine sputters because of low fuel
C. blocks Jeff who had a run
D. was secretly hoping to get spun out
E. sees Elvis and is shocked
Jeff hits him and spins him because (pick one here)
A. Matt slowed and Jeff couldn't get slowed down in time
B. Matt slowed and Jeff tapped him to get him a little loose so he could get around, but hit him too hard
C. Matt slowed and Jeff hit him as payback
D. Matt slowed and Jeff hit him because Jeff is EVIL
E. Matt slowed and Jeff was too busy being shocked 'cause he saw Elvis too.
The only way we will ever know is if we get to see the lap times, which Nascar has, but hasn't released.
Kurokage Sanada
looks like the nascar guild is shaping up to have it's own rivalries eh?
rolleyes What's funny, is that I'm not even a Jeff Gordon fan. I listen to XM's Nascar channel, and you hear alot of facts, opinions, and theories from people all over, from people like us, to journalists and drivers. It's alot of information, and occasionally, some of it sticks in my head.
