I would like to use Tarot cards, but I haven't found that one deck that speaks to me! I am not comfortable making my own, and it's not like I don't have two already, i'm just not comfortable with using those decks, I just haven't found that one deck tha speaks to me on a spiritual level.
Does anybody know how to find that one deck that you would feel comfortable using?

I use Tarot of the Witches. It's ugly but that doesn't matter to me.
Hm. That reminds me. It might be a little off subject but I didn't want to make a new board for a little question... How should I cleanse my deck? My mom thought it would be funny to touch it even though she knows perfectly well not to (and WHY not to). I can't use sage because my parents get all pissy and say it smells like hobo pee O_o. The lavendar in my garden is dead because it got out of control and no one cut it. So I can't smudge it. Could I freeze it??

Tarot is my favorite aspect I've found in this path. ^_^ I use mine all the time and think it's been a very helpful guide.
I use the archaeon tarot, it's beautiful and dark and works great for me.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work for anyone else so I can't read for my friends or family. hehe.... so I want the International Icon tarot! If you haven't heard of it you should check it out, it's unlike anything I've ever seen in terms of tarot.
(I also want the gummy bear tarot, because it looks really cute and appeals to the opposite side of me from the one that loves my dark deck)

Did a reading just yesterday to discern the role of a new spirit entity I've encountered. Boy, did the cards smack me in the face with it... sweatdrop

I have two decks, Halloween and Shapeshifter, neither of which I use as much as I should. Maybe the winter break will give me some time to become reaccquainted with tarot.

Pulped Fiction Stupid question, probably. If so, what deck do you use? I use the Aleister Crowley deck. I am waiting to find a tarot deck that really speaks to me. Living in a small town in the buckle of the bible belt the only tarot cards around cater to the gothic girls at my school who wanna be different. neutral None have yet to appeal to me, I eagerly await the day that I find them though, I've already studying reading them a little bit.

Tarrot, I started out two years ago with a deck I got from Germany. Loved that deck. Great interpretations from the book and major arcana (minor had just pictures of how many of the suit there were, had to go to the book for them). Got a mini-deck a year ago. This one has pictures all-around, but if I need to go to the book, this one has horrible interps. They're all very specific and written in the future tense. This deck is conveniet though because of its size.

I hung up my decks many years ago, had to many bad premonitions for me to continue looking into the future that often. Now i only really pull them out for sereous life altering thought. Be careful what you ask for. Just remember, some things need to stay hidden...
as for the ones i have one is a dragon deck and the other is medicine cards

Julien_Isfange I hung up my decks many years ago, had to many bad premonitions for me to continue looking into the future that often. Now i only really pull them out for sereous life altering thought. Be careful what you ask for. Just remember, some things need to stay hidden... well, for me, the cards aren't set it stone. The future it shows it the one to the path I'm currently on. That way, if I don't like the path I'm on, I can also use the tarot to weigh out my options. Unless the future holds a Major Arcana. Those are one of 'life's lessons' that will be got to be had. In any case, I don't use them more than once a week for myself, if even that. I don't want my life to be dependant upon them to tell me what to do. I also don't worry about things I can see before that are inevitable. I'm actually known for being extremely calm about things by pretty much everyone who knows me, and not just about tarot readings (many don't even know I do tarot). It's not that I ignore it'll happen. Just...it's not in my instinct to worry about it if it's going to come.
