I went to a musical last month that I simply adored.
So much so that I wanted to see it again.
Super badly.
So I find out that the tour cast is coming to my state again in February. Huzzah. I check seats, and there is nothing good for two people, so I couldn't get any of my friends to go with me, but I found - and bought - a ticket for just myself to go to it on February 9th, a Friday. It'll be super cool, 'cause while it will feel awkward for me being alone (seeing as how last time I had my friend with me to protect the light from the ushers when I taped), it'll still be amazingly cool. 'Cause there's a chance I'll get to meet my favorite performer of the cast afterward. I may or may not have had email contact with someone who knows him personally (I think she does, but you never know, there are weird people who make false claims for no reason at all), and she says that he's seen my videos, and when I told her that he was my favorite performer but that I did not get a chance to speak to him after the show, she advised that I definitely go talk to him next time (some of the performers hang out in the lobby with fans after the shows). So that's all good and exciting: He might actually KNOW of me as "That Girl Who Illegally Taped," I might get a chance to actually MEET him and talk to him personally, and I'm in the SECOND ROW (last time I was third). Everything is ******** beautiful. Life is great.
So I get home on Tuesday after my Orquestra concert.
My mom points out something painfully heartbreaking in the program:
"Upcoming Events:
-Solo and Ensemble:
Friday, February 9th."
crying
What do I do? This ticket is non-refundable (and I ******** wanna go super bad), but Solo and Ensemble is not something that I can miss!
