Premarital sexual relations and masturbation of any sort is a sin. It is commiting adultery, which would be against one of the ten commandments. I believe that homosexuality is also a sin because God created Adam and Eve for one purpose, and it was for Adam ( representing men w00t ) and Eve ( representing the women ) to reproduce and to be married. Note that they are of opposite sex. God created two different genders for one of the genders to ask the other to marry and produce children, not for one gender to ask someone of the same gender to marry.

Premarital sex is a sin, and adultery is definately a sin, but premarital sex is not adultery.

Our calling is towards holiness, and to think in everything that is pure, noble, and of good name. Premarital sex falls immediately short in that sense, as well as it being described as fornication, which God explicitly condemns throughout the whole Bible.

Everything that involves an attempt to stimulate the partner sexually (and sexually might not just include physical touching the others' genitals), giving the factor that they both are not married, counts as an act of sexual immorality, from my point of view, considering what I said before that Paul stated about the things we should think about.

There's some other part in the Scriptures that says that we should not let sin reign in our bodies, but rather present it to God as a living sacrifice (Romans something, if I'm not mistaken). Our bodies are not to be presented as instruments of wickedness, but as instruments of righteousness to glorify God.

I don't imagine the apostle Paul having premarital sex, just to put an example.

Once saved always saved - I believe it. Because if you reject God after being "saved" I don't think you ever were saved.

See, that's what I believe. However, the subject is kind of a paradox in and of itself. It depends on how you look at it, I can't type it. It's too complex for me to put into words. My head hurts.

It doesn't depends on how we look at it. That's what the Postmodern thought wants to bring to our minds, that everything is relative. We are not the ones who give salvation. We are not the judges. Our God is a God of absolutes. What does the Bible says about 'once saved, always saved'?

1. Someone who calls himself a Christian, but does not behave as a Christian (or later says he's not a Christian), was NEVER a Christian. No matter how much he affirms it. The Bible says it clearly: "They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us." (1 John 2:19)

Clearly, this verse says that if someone is a true Christian, he would remain a Christian.

2. No one can snatch the sheep of God out of His hands. Jesus said in John 10:27-28: "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand." Those who God saves, can't be unsaved, for salvation implies having eternal life, and if salvation is lost, then said life wouldn't be eternal. If said life wasn't eternal, then it wasn't salvation, so we go back to the verse of 1 John 2:19.

Thus, the Bible would be a lie, and as we know, the Bible is the Word of God: The God who calls Himself "the way, the truth, and the life."

3. Final thing: The "Christianity" of the modern era is characterized for being more focused on feelings rather than on the truth. Because of this, some people call themselves "Christians" because they "feel the presence of God in their hearts." The Bible NEVER, NOT EVEN ONCE, says that if we feel something inside us, we are Christians. NO, my friends. That's a lie of the devil. What the Bible says is that "by their fruit you will recognize them" (Matthew 7:20).

I hope I clarified your doubts with this. 3nodding

I beleive that Premarital sex is a sin! No doubt about it! I know that it might be tough but we have to be strong Christians and not fall into the devils trap!

oddly enough for a guy who thinks that every indulgence is a good idea and who has probably had more permarital sex than anybody else on this guild, i still would advise caution in that area of ones life. i sometimes think that i threw my virtue away too readily so my oppinion on this is pertty much "too far" is exactl;y where you set it personally. if something is making you feel awkward or downright bad, the best answer is don't do it. on the other hand what does the advice of a heretic count for on this guild?

Every perspective is welcome. I enjoy what you have to say because it is different. Even though your perspective often conflicts with what Christians believe, your perspective is often what much of the world shares. We are to test everything in order to seek God. If we had nothing to test, then how would we grow?

That doesn't mean you can do what ever you want. Respect the rules of this guild and you shall receive respect, that goes for everyone.
