Actually i believe weve cleanted most of it to the health departments satisfaction though, but they did threaten to shut my skools theatre down, and the thing that bugs about it is they wait till hell week to show up so now we are frantically trying to A finish the set and B clean up our shop and stuff however, it did make me laugh because we gotten Written up because we had frozen chicken...in a freezer eek first off isnt that were chicken should be? second, what like a high skool student is gonna walk up and eat raw chicken...yummy...anyhow, we also got a write up for our props shelves being...well a mess sweatdrop theres more props then we really know what to do with, at anyrate the helth people say a mouse can live there oddly enough one already does, we call him smuckers but now we have to kill him its very sad for him. Anyway has anyone else ever had there theatre threatened by the health department or is my school's just the messiest theatre this side of the mississippi? xd

The space under our stage (affectionately but righty called the "Dungeon") is notorious for harboring rats. I'm sure if the Health Dep knew they wouldn't be too happy. sweatdrop

The prop loft and wood loft at my old school....oh lord what a mess. I don't know how, but during every show, no matter how neat it was before it started is a mess by closing night. I can't tell you how many times I've been on one of the loft clean-up crews. I don't think any kind of officials would like to see them very much. Especaially the wood loft. That place is dangerous. Our theater director broke his wrist when he fell up there during set once, someone else fell when they were up there (there are 2 levels, they were trying to get from one to the other and the ladder fell) and once during clean-up the entire pile of 2x4's fell on me. And there are a lot of them. Hurt like hell.

the fire marshal loves our school because we keep everything neet... because we're a college and people get paid to make sure we don't get shut down...
but my sister had a show in college shut down because of an outbreak of meningitis (sp)
and there is one theater in the DC area... if you ever think of going to The Washington Shakespeare Company in Arrlington, VA... don't... it's in a condemened warehouse (meaning if the deathtrap catches fire the firefighters can only make sure that neighboring buildings don't catch fire... they can't enter the building AT ALL), that has bad wireing (my friend who was SMing there had to put several small fires out because of arching), and lots and lots of rats xp
