Kizuka turned around and smiled at her chocolate colored cub who was following her as fast as she could--but alas, having smaller legs she was not as fast as the big pale lioness. So Kizuka waited, so that Trina could catch up with her. "Oh sweetheart, if we don't hurry you will miss it!" She teased her daughter.
It had been a while since Kizuka had her breakdown and she was trying her best to make up for her irresponsible actions by giving her cubs more attention then ever. She cut down on her alone wanderings to spend some more time with them and was trying to distribute enough love to all of them and not just 'Kota who was the only one who sincerely seemed to like spending time with her. She only took Trina with her this time, though because of all her cubs she had known Trina to be a true judge of beauty with her attention narrowly focused on pretty and pleasant things. She would show her daughter the sole reason Pridelands was far more better than any place in the savannah. As they made their way to the Pride Rock, Kizuka hoped nobody would notice them sneaking around what was rightfully Mufasa and Sarabi's resting place. However, the sunset from that place was just too beautiful to miss. She wanted to share that with Trina
The brown cub hardly could keep up with her mother. "Where are we going this early in the morning?" she whined as was her usual reaction to things which derived from the way she herself had planned them. "And why exactly are we going?" she added hastily and snorted. She liked her mother, but soemtimes she could be just too.. eccentric for the small cub to take. She was mysterious, which Trina admired, but she kinda hoped Kizuka was not soo secretive towards them too. It was hard to undnerstand what was going on her mind...

Since her meeting with Sarabi and acceptance into the pride, Shomoro had not again scaled Pride Rock. It was so very large, so impressive and so beautiful, she couldn't help but feel small when she was near it, and she placed her paws with care, as though she were tiptoeing past a slumbering grandmother she couldn't bear to be responsible for waking.
As she gazed up at its heights from below, her thoughts drifted to the frail Queen, and a small, sad smile stirred on her muzzle. She never wanted sweet, beautiful Sarabi to die. What would happen when she did?
Drifting in her thoughts, she failed to hear the sound of voices more than faintly.
