Yeah, live here all my life and I'm still not used to the heat. sweatdrop
I agree! Palmdale always gets the best stuff! And all the good things in Lancaster are closing up and heading over there. And what's the special thing we get? A new fairgrounds. Whoo-hoo stare
At least we snubbed Palmdale's nose because it was supposed to be built between them and Lancaster. whee
Quick question; which high school did you go too, A.V. or Lancaster?

Aoi Shinu I go to Lancaster. And yeah, we got new fairgrounds, but I loved the old ones! There was so much shade and grass, and it just felt nice that fairgrounds should be. The new ones have virtually NO grass, and no shade. I went for the flea market and I thought I would die out there. I didn't go to the fair this year though (kinda broke) so I dont know how it was. I'm an A.V. girl myself. I haven't been to the new fairgrounds myself but I agree about it being sucky looking. Flea market that bad huh? My condolences, but the heat wave should be breaking soon, though it would be nice to have a warm Halloween this year.

Yeah, my yard is cluttered with them too. I'd love to have a good snowy winter here. It did used to snow every year here when I was little, but then we would be lucky to even get half a day with snow. rolleyes

I spent all of my years in Elementary school down in AV. Still got a whole bunch of relatives there too. Lived out in Quartz Hill...yup...one of the places I've lived in CA
