"Oh only a few weeks." He said simply then turned on his iPod bobbing his head to the tunes. "That's cool, I sorta like it here too just dont' get around much." He muttered; despite the music he could hear very clearly but if the conversation got boring the music would drown out any chances of persued chatter.
"Well my whole Crossfade thing is simply because I like the band... though I guess you could say it has a bit to do with my powers. My hands cross and the shockwaves fade." he laughed a bit at that scratching his head. So who's your guardian, mine's Akila Zesiro."

Spriggin chuckled. "I guess our names are simelar in that way. Your's is a favorite band and mine is a fae that has talents like I do." She turned the chair backwards and leaned back against it. "Mine is Joshua McKinley. He's pretty cool, helps make the programs with Jim. Dunno if this one is one of his." She gestured at the room. "But I've done a few simulations."
Nodding towards the iPod she poked a finger towards her ear. "Whatcha listening to?" While she liked to listen to music she more often was found playing video games so most of her favorites were soundtracks or techno. Finding out the likes and dislikes of music was often a good way in finding out about someone and curiosity was one of her main drives.
Then the grape flew right between her vision. "Wha?" She glanced around and spotted Zayd ducking from the flying food. With a laugh she ducked back down behind the chair out of harms way.

Photon: All this talk! *flings mashed taters at babbling mouths*
Jim found full writing far more intersting and decided to go that way to show Photon up. "Joshua, McKinley. Same difference... You answer to both of them, don't you? Very nice random screen... I should try randomly pulling things like that out of my pocket."
Photon won't be shown up, so he switched to full RP style too. wink Mwheheee... Wait, that wasn't right.. eh...
*flings sceen-defying 'naners at Jim*
Ace: HEY! Don't mess with Daddy's stuff! *rapid-fire peanut throw at Photon, which bounces of screen and hits Josh* AWwh... *I* want screen-defying food!
SSH: hehehee.. how confusing can my writingi get? *throws smushed grapes back at Zayd*

Erol: *in mid-writing stance* Dude seriously pick a style and stick with it. *flings grapes and at the last minute snaps his fingers causing the grapes to splatter in the face of their target: Photon*
Switching to full writing again, Erol doesn't miss a beat and ducks behind a counter snagging Candice along with him. Cranking up the iPod currently playing 'Devils Never Cry' from the Devil May Cry 3 soundtrack, he winks at Candice then looks around them to find full lunches wrapped in plastic sitting on trays. Whooping happily these are currently flung over the counter and into the fray as he claps his hands together generating shockwaves which flair out and cause the lunches to explode in all directions raining down food on all in the room. "Hah! Now this is what you call a food fight." He squeals bobbing his head to the music and sitting back in safety and comfort of the counter and his current companion.
