The Man Who Fell to Earth
Its a movie based on a book, it came out a long time ago like the 70's. David starred in it, and I was intrested in seeing it or reading the book. I just wanted to know what you thought about it or could tell me whats it about.

It's a very strange movie. And if you've ever seen Marilyn Manson in his androgynous body suit, he got the idea from that movie.

umhm seen the movie, basically david is an alien who came to earth to try and find a way to save his home planet from drought (i believe) and finds he really likes earth. He becomes a very sucessful business man and enjoys all the modern luxuries of life and even falls in love, then the gov find out about him....i'll ruin it if i say too much!
i didnt know it was based on a book though!

i have heard rumors that it has a ton of sex and is a bit porographic so i was wondering if that was true...if it is true i think i would rather read the book
