I'm currently doing an independent study course in psychoanalytical dream analysis (Interpreting dreams from a psychological perspective). As part of this, I'm supposed to create a collection of dreams and an interpretation of their individual meanings and turn it in to my school. I'm gonna do some of my own as well, but I'd like to get other peoples' dreams as well to expand my skill set. So, if you have any dreams that you're curious about, post a detailed description here and I'll give you as many as THREE different interpretations. Just a few notices:
1.) I AM NOT A LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST. These interpretations should not be taken too seriously. If you want a dependable analysis, consult a psychoanalyst.
2.) I MAY HAVE TO PROBE A LITTLE BIT TO GET AT THE MEANING. If there are things in your life, either in general or around the time you had the dream that you have no intention of sharing with anyone, beware that they might come up during the process of interpretation. But be aware that I am fairly accomodating, and PMing me is an option if you want to keep something secret from everyone else.
3.) I WILL DO MY BEST TO KEEP ANONYMITY. No names or extremely revealing details will be included in my results. When possible, any undesirable details will be covered as vague statements.

hehehe well this will be fun! Well, jeez, now I can't think of a dream. Okay, I'll just share some common characteristics that always reappear in my dreams
I'm usually blind... which is very annoying in dreams
If I try to hit someone, I always miss and/or my fists and legs move in slow motion
submarines are pretty common too in my dreams.

I had a dream about something big in my room. I growled like a big dog, jumpped on my back and forced to back on my bed so i couldn't get up to see what made the noise, freaked me out. O.o

I had a dream
where I went to sleep and had a dream very wired.I can't seem to remeber what was in that dream.
I also had a where I turned into a dog and my friends she turned into a cat and we started fighting. She loves cats I love dogs we get along ok but can be very different people I can't figure out how we became friends.

@AkuraTheCrow: First of all, when did you have your dream? What was going on in your life at the time? Also, I'm a little unsure as to how it played out. Is this accurate: Something big in your room (silhouette maybe?), it made a noise, you growled back and jumped back into bed, and tried to look away from the thing?
@mangakingSA: How do you and your friend get along? What do dogs mean to you? What do catsmean to you? Please relate any memorable experiences related to the three. Also, what was the setting? Where there any other figures?

Not actually see anything just i felt something was their that wasn't natural. then i felt it jump on me and it growled at me again, like it was a big dog or something. so i closed my eyes. not the frist time that happened. Another night I woke up and saw something on the floor it had to little red eyes. i freaked and went back to sleep. I actually tried to look at it but i couldn't. like it made me look away. i dont remmeber when i had them. are they my gaurdans. they never tried to hurt me just made me go back to sleep.

Woot woot! I've always wanted to get my dreams told! Okay I got one today. but it's like....I always get nightmares whenever I get dreams. Like last night. I got a dream that I was at war. And I have been shot soo many times but I was still alive. Maybe it was my confidence that kept me up. But when I really went down. I just lost it. So I was about to die 3nodding and I grabbed my spongebob pillow and died. (Wow i'm brave xD). Then later in the dream. I was at mc donalds eek Haha then I woke up.

@AkuratheCrow: What they are in relation to you is made apparent by the emotions you attach to them. If you're apprehensive around them, or you fear them, they more likely represent something that you are very anxious about. If, however, they imbue you with a sense of comfort and security then they are most likely something to which you attach those feelings. It is possible that you experienced a dream situation that is telling of your perceptions of something, usually yourself, another person, the world at large, or an object or idea. In this case, you would project your own personality onto these shadowy figures and you in turn would take the role of the thing in question.
@adventchildren73: Being at war could represent different things; aggression towards someone or something, a feeling of being attacked by everyone else, or the unconscious desire to defend something. A couple of these are supported by your mention of the Spongebob pillow. If you can remember, please describe any details you remember, or the setting of the battle.

Well one thing for sure is that I kept getting hit on my back. And well about the spongebob pillow. Hmm....well I felt like I wanted one of my childhood memories with me when I die or something. Since spongebob I guess is like the longest thing I liked and it brings back memories I guess

Hey, if you're still doing this, I have one that's been bothering me.
Mike(my fiance of almost three years), myself, our dog, and Mike's Mom are in a car driving to a dock. Well, she drove onto the dock, which apparently in my dream world is super normal. We stopped and she said something to us(can't remember)and wasn't paying attention. She then drove off the dock onto the lake(it was an accident). The lake wasn't deep and the water was clear and warm. We all got out but we were kind of stranded. I was screaming at her.
I don't know what it means. It's so confusing.
