COLLINS!!!!!! blaugh I recognized the voice when I first saw in theaters. All we needed was for Darcy to make an appearance, and it would have ended up Pride and Prejudice. I saw it again today, and my Dad came this time since he wanted to know what the hype was about. Even though he never saw the first one and didn't get it, the minute he heard the word Kraken, he was all "WOO!" Apparently, he played a video game a long time ago with a Kraken in it that was a b***h to beat, so he was pretty excited when it came on screen. I saw the Kraken in a Tamora Pierce novel, so when I learned it was going to be in the movie, I was pretty excited too.

I hate the foreshadowing of Elizabeth/Jack pairing. Nto to mention, Elizabeth is getting on my nerves. She apparently loves Will, but now all this bloody compass and smiley towards Jack, oh, and that blasted kiss!
People say that they wouldn't put her with Jack, but I've seen this happen before and it worries me gonk

So who do you think should be with Elizabeth? Will, Jack, or Norrington? I think that she should be with Jack. She seems to like him as much or mabby even more than Will. And as far as the whole govinors daughter thing goes she might have been the govinors daughter before but she can never go back to that because she is wanted now. So now she is free from what is expected of her a govinors daughter and can turn pirate like she's always been interested in and who better to teach her how to be a pirate that a pirate and seeing as she already knows Jack he would be the ovious chose and then of course friendship turns into love and Jack forgives Elizabeth for leaving him behind on the ship and they get married. At least that's what I think should happen.
