GameStop bought/is in the process of buying EB Games.
I'm too lazy to find a link about it, but I'm sure someone has it or can easily find it. Just thought I'd announce it.

Pah, EB was long a go bought out/merged with in the UK. Now we have just GAME (nothing to do with Gamespot). Apparently though, GameSpot wants to buy out GAME. Oh please no. gonk

Yeah... EB's been around since before I was born.. the one in the mall nearest me was the very first retail store they opened.
sad
I'm told it's probably not going to affect us regular workers much, but probably the managers and stuff.
Regardless, it's gonna be wierd. There's always been EB. There aren't many other game stores around here... bah. sad

I still have to return my scratched copy of The Sims 2 University to EBGames. >.<
I don't support businesses buying out other businesses. Its so dumb. Unless I hate whatever is being bought out.

Dah. An EB Games was just now coming to a nearby location, too...well, I guess it's not that much of a loss since I've never shopped at either store.
