You probably already know that the Lincoln Center Library of Performing Arts has videos of plays. I believe as students, you can reserve a video to watch at the library. I saw a video of Rags that way. Just in case you can't afford the show or you want to see the original production of a revival you might see. You can lie and say it's for a school report or something.
I believe that also works for students from out of town, not just going to school in the city.

That would rock! If I could see Big, or Starmites that way. Or even Starlight Express!

It depends on whether they have it on videotape. Supposedly, they don't tape all of the plays, but honestly, I think they do. They might not have some of the flops that closed before they could tape them.
