yeah. i know what u mean. The books are always better, and the movie sometimes ruins the story! so i hope these turn out allright.

Hmm, i don' know because i'm the type of person who when i watch the movie can't read the book after, cuz' it totally ruins it for me! lol. no i always read it before the movie. Ted Dekker is coming out w/ a new book soon... i don't remember what its called though.

thats interesting. a lot of movies that are made are taken from books or ideas from books...just most of the time we don't know it! lol. i prefer books to movies most of the time...though i do like a good movie.

I always try to think of movies and books as different versions of the same story...since that is what they are. I don't like to compare them because I know I will be disappointed. When I watch a movie I just try to enjoy it and later try to decide if they did a decent job of making the book visually stimulating and compressing it into the time frame.

i wish i could to that, but i always end up comparing them! and it usually ruins either the book or the movie for me. for example i saw the count of monte cristo a while back, and then my dad told me there was a book written a long time ago w/ the name, i read the book and thought it was hundreds times better than the movie, even though i liked the movie before i read the book now i really wish they made the movie more like the book!

Ted Dekker is amazing! I love his books. I got to see him talk once too which was amazing! I also have many books by frank peretti but I haven't read them yet. I'm really excited! heart heart heart heart
