well, i just saw Xenosaga Anime... i think, it sheds a lot of light on the Kirshwassers and why they love Albedo!
"My sisters, they all loved something they saw in you!" etc
"Who's the flower the blooms from those corpses"
{note: i do know the exact quote- but that's irrelivent}
i can never listen to that part of the game the same anymore.
my favorite Kirshwasser line ever
"Albedo... look at me"
the emotion in that line just brought the Kirshwassers all the way up to my favorite female characters. it's tragic, and they're all the same- Albedo, Shion and the Kirshwassers. They have every reason to love him!
she was pleading, you could tell how much she hated to be left alone, how much pain Mizrahi accidentally put on them. i'm sure he didn't mean to because i really think Mizrahi is a good guy but... and then, even Albedo started playing with MOMO and not them.
the Kirshwasser choked Rubedo because she wanted to be with Albedo, she pretended to be MOMO to be noticed, she wanted to be looked at.
i remember almost every line the Kirshwasser said- or at least the gist {sp} of it.
"Daddy, he always paid attention to you... everyone... except this person"
"But, this person is just using you"
"Even so, this person- needs me. Not you, me
{this person was Albedo}
there was just so much emotion conveyed on the side of the Kirshwassers that i couldn't help but like them even more. {yeah, i already liked them, but...wow...}
So, anyone have something to say about the Kirshwassers?

I've never seen the anime, but in the game I've always felt so sorry for the Kirschwassers. Albedo misused them and their feelings with the ultimate goal of getting to MOMO. The part where you see Albedo surrounded by dozens of discarded Kirschwassers always makes me want to cry and strangle Albedo for taking advantage of innocence.

Well, Albedo seems to care a LOT more in Xenosaga the anime. but i think that's mainly because Albedo hates being left alone, not so much about him caring for the Kirshwassers.
There's a point where he tells the Kirshwasser that she has nothing to be afraid of because he needs her, even if Shion doesn't want her.

Kirshwassers... everything in the world needs more Kirshwassers. No exceptions. I'd like to have some, too. They're really loyal, even if you break their bones and smack them around. That's dedication.
