Sunlight stretches over the panorama, orange and bright
Engulfing me in it's warming, calming light
Happiness swells within me, bringing a smile to my face
I'm so content with you by my side, captivated by your grace
Choosing not to focus on the past or hate
Your eyes leave the blood rushing to my face
So pristine and lacking hate
Effervescence is my only fate
The sun slowly sets behind the lake
Bringing to an end this day of airy
I hate to see it fade, it's almost scary
But I know happiness is our only fate
An ending of days; beginning the dusk
In the eerie of stars; a calmness settles
Knowledge of life surviving inside this night
The moon holding us close whispering twilights
The fog wrapping together the souls of yester years
Coldness clasping the toasty thoughts
Gleefully dancing in the moon showers
Meters of stars completing our stories
The moisten air sings to us of running meadows
Listening to our secrets of now, of then
Understanding our being and holding on to the night
We lasted a full time; a joy of holding on
This wasn't just me - A duet written with a friend of mine.

it was amazing i painted a picture in my head and saw everything you wrote very deep i liked it!!
