I dont think the US is being lax about it at all, if you pay attention to miltary troop deployments, we have ALOT of troops already in South Korea and in Japan incase anything does happen. Also, there isnt much more we can do to N Korea, they are sanctioned up the wazuuu, and like sans launching a pre emptive attack, which is sure to be met with nuclear force, there is much that can be done really. Kim Jung Il is nuts, like Hitler/Sadam nuts, and there is nothing sans assisinating him that will be able to stop whatever it is he wants to do. North Korea is one of the last true communist states, and they can be dangerous when unleashed.

Koiyuki I hope they didn't mean to try and hit Japan, because the LAST thing you'd want to do is piss Japan off. If WWII was any sign, they will do whatever it takes to suppress a threat, and EVERYBODY will get involved, from teens, to seniors, to even children. As long as they can take up arms, and fight, they will fight to the bitter end. Um, do you remember how that particular war ended? Because Japan didn't come out on top. The missile(s?) also landed much closer to Russia, anyway.

I like both countries but: Japan took control over Korea and had done a very terriable thing to women there in world war http://www.ccds.charlotte.nc.us/History/Japan/05/cox/index.htmlI know it was a bad thing what Korea did to Japan but... its not fair what the Japanese did to Koreans scream I feel more sorry for Koreans when it comes to this. I'm not saying I hate Japan or that I don't feel sorry for them they had their share of pain to. I'm wondering why Japan and USA are helping eachother out Japan was also going to put an atomic bomb on them to it was a race US got to it first... talk2hand

全力で反抗したかて・・・・・・・・・・・・At first I didn't really get what all this missile launching business was about with Korea, like, for one, why they were doing it in the first place! xp Now I think I'm starting to understand... As I recall N. Korea (which I remember reading that it was actually originally spelled "Corea" >_>) and the U.S. are still at war with that Cold War score they never settled from years before... Think they could be reopening old wounds??? I always thought it was actually SOUTH Korea that was the Communist one, not NORTH Korea, but I guess I just learned something huh? ^-^;
This "missile testing" Korea has going on, in my opinion, I believe is something that should no doubt raise concerns... I think if the plan is to attack a country by surprise they'll prolly go for the U.S. before they go for Japan... Again, I only THINK... sweatdrop Still both nations definitely have undisputable reasons to be on their toes at least... ・・・・・・この世潰れようわで!!
