NOTE: THIS IS A LITTLE GRAPHIC, SO IF YOU'RE NOT MATURE ENOUGH TO HANDLE IT, PLEASE DO NOT REPLY!!
K so I got my period the 26th and it lasted for four days, as per usual. When it stopped, I noticed some discomfort around the labia minora and the labia majora area. It's a little red... It itches, and it burns. Not when I pee, but the labia minora and majora, in between them, that burns. And also, another question, I always after my period, have like brown discharge. Is that just the end of my period (As I said, I only bleed for three days), or is it abnormal discharge or something? Does it have anything to do with the above mentioned problem? Is it normal and do I need to get it checked out by a doctor? Has this happened to anyone else? Please help; it's causing me ALOT of discomfort! Thanks!! Note: I am not sexually active, so that cannot be the problem.

As far as the brown leakage, yes, that can be just extra blood post-period.
Now, as far as the burning, that's NOT normal and should be looked at by a doctor. You may have a yeast infection, which requires treatment.
If the leakage and burning came about at the same time, I'd assume they're connected, and therefore not normal leakage, so yet again, see your doc.

The brown discharge basically means the end of your period, at least it does for me. I went through something similar about a month back. It itched badly and burned during urination. Mine was due to the tampon I was using...I think. I never went to the doctors b/c...well...my parents are mean but I got through mine. I do suggest seeing one about it though.

Ipstenu Do you use a pad or a tampon? I used to get a rash from pads no matter what kind I used razz Umm... Yeah I use a pad (no tampons at home at the time, and no money to buy them at the time... stare ) It was a different brand than usual... hmm... Well, it went away for the most part now... I don't know... Thanks for the advice, though, everyone. If it comes back, then I'll go to a doctor, but for the time being, it's all good!! biggrin
