For you wind players, what kind of mouthpiece do you use?
For me:
Tuba - Conn Helleberg 120-S ( I own) Trombone - Bach 12C ( School )
I'm interested in all the different mouthpiece variants out there.
Post pictures if you can!

omg... You use the EXACT same mouthpieces as I... except... I'm not sure if this counts as a mouthpiece but
It's my Fox (1) Bassoon bocal (Every one of my mouthpieces are owned by my school)

These are my mouthpieces, i pretty much use the one on the far left the most. It's my 4*5 Claude Lakey mouthpiece and it produced a great sound and it's quite big. I use it for Blues Funk and i use it for marchingband too because it's so loud and easy to hit altissimos with.

hey! i have the same one 3rd from the left! its a pain in the arse to use! but hey! haha I just got a new Myre 5 from my director... he says I should use it but I think it makes the horn sound like sh*t on a stick.. what do you guys think about the myers?

Myers are good stepping up mouthpieces but for me i'll go with other ones. They're the most recommended mouthpieces when going from your stock mouthpiece. You own a Selmer Jazz F*? It's a good mouthpiece and i used it in the recording for our jazzband but still it doesnt project enough and can be quite the mouthpiece to get used to.
clarinet- Giliadi (is that how you spell it?) alto sax- Meyers 5M i own those mouthpieces

Hey HornFreak, do you have any opinions on the Lakey for tenor? I'm reading online that it's not quite as good as the alto piece, but I'm still checking it out once I have the cash.

it's true that the tenor mouthpiece isnt as good as the alto. I just found this mouthpiece to be pretty good. Mine is a 4*5 i believe and has enough bite and great projection! It really isnt for everybody though. For the most part the Claude Lakey makes a good alto mouthpiece.

I got the 5*3 and I love it. I was just enamored with my upper register with this thing.
