In September, the House of Representatives passed Congressman Richard Pombo's (R-CA) "Wildlife Extinction" bill, which would get rid of the Endangered Species Act. Is it just me, or is this completely wrong???

Could you please post where you got this information (I know it's old at this point, but I'm still curious)? Or, if not, at least somewhere that discusses it outside of Gaia? I want to read more on it, thankies. ^-^
Getting rid of protection for endangered wildlife is a ridiculous thing. Hopefully such a document will never be fully passed, ever. I would think that people have more brains than that.
