I play the trumpet in my schoold band. Yes, I am the ONLY trumpet player. I'm not a self centered jerk either.

I also play the trumpet. while sometimes the sounds that some people coax out of them make me want to kill myself violenly, trumpets can sound really nice if whoever is playing it is good at it.

eh. it depends on the person. most (if not all) trumpets are pretty loud and in your face, but some of them are nicer about it (i.e. Locker Boy, Adaline, Julia)
