Title: .hack//Dawn General Info: Well, this is a story I have been thinking up for quite some time, and have finally took some real intivative to produce. Right now, I plan on at the very least for it to be a story with manga inserts (similar to the .hack// novels)...however, if I can... I'll try and produce a mangaka style online comic. Also known as the Dawn Project. Any info located in Dawn Project is liable to change for any reason. Index:

Background Info:
The year is 2015, The World had just been lost by a fire started in CC Corp...and R:2 has just been released. A 17 year old student by the name of Rei Miyazawa, was a veteran in terms of The World...he was instantly furious that the game was lost and that he couldn't transfer over his original character Ake.
Rei felt a break from a prison almost after the game was gone. He went and was more active then usual. However, the moment R:2 was released, he felt as if a shadow had reappeared from beneath him.
His brother Kouji, had been able to snag two copies since there dad was part of CC Corp. Originally, Rei said no...but Kouji dragged him in there, and thus Rei created Akeno.
The two wandered into the newly created game, and started to enjoy it. These times, R:2 was peaceful, a serene place that reminded everyone of The World. However, they stumbled across a weird room with a box wrapped in data. The moment Akeno touched the box, the data instantly wrapped around his character giving him the unique powers to wield powers from previous generations.
However, these powers came at a cost...in turn it opened a sealed door...a door that was supposed to never be open. In there, were 8 "monsters" who were released from there prison.
These 8 were now loose, and thus a new evil was born. However, this evil had only one intention, and that was to recover whatever Akeno had just gained. In it, there seems to lie a new mystery as to why all this has happened.
Along the way, Akeno meets friends and allies who help him along the way.

Main Characters:
Akeno - In .hack//Dawn, he is a young teenager who is pretty much a veteran to The World. However, once his last character data was erased due to the fire he almost gave up on it. But, because of his brother, he decided to try out R:2. But, the moment he arrived he was sucked into a new threat. He was nearly able to come out alive, but a little later he found a huge black box that started to rip his character with an overflow of old data. Those bandages you see are what hold his character together. Through this old data, he can call forth different special skills from old .hackers. And with this old data, some mysterious power is looking to reclaim it since there seems to be something important. Akeno is just a fun loving guy. He likes to play around with people a whole lot, but can also be very serious when it comes to the events affecting the new world. It's very hard to see what he thinks, he goes from one face to the next. It could be assumed that some of the old data in him seeps out into his personality.
Kara - In .hack//Dawn, she is a young teenager who decides to play The World R:2 after hearing so many things good about it. After that, she gets so addicted she becomes the power hungry, over-expressionate, young-woman known as "Kara". She picked a Brandish since she wanted to get right into the action with lots of power. She is one who likes to play around a lot, but can get really tempromental if she doesn't get her way.
V - In .hack//Dawn, he is a big otaku. This guy goes so far as to try and resemble Vash from Trigun. Even at times he will try and act like him or make refrences only people who watched trigun might know of. But when it comes down to it, he is more trying to be the voice of reason between Akeno and Kara. At times he can even get quite moody if his anime is ever insulted.

Nevolji It does sound awesome! If I could see better character references I would probably draw some fan-art... ;3 lol...I know I only really got Akenos small refrence... but I am working on various other concepts at the moment and the side characters style are changing bit by bit...so I wont creat a good refrence for Kara or V till a bit later on.
