I have researched this topic a lot, and i wanted to have a discussion about how to controll Caulerpa taxifolia. One option is sea snails, but they are sooo slow that i dont think it is pheasable. This algae came from someone fishtank. They decided to dump it into the ocean and then this plant became a menace. its in the guld of mexico and on the coast of california. It likes to destroy coral reefs and other habitats, all around it is just bad news.

it is very interesting, mainly because it means that the only way to deal with a poisonous killer algae is with sea snails...
