Morrowind is my absolute favorite game, but I recently finished the main plot line. I’ve been thinking about buying oblivion, but when I looked at the system requirements I figured out that I would need a LOT of costly computer upgrades. Is oblivion worth all of the money, or should I just play out all of the Morrowind expansions and faction quests? sweatdrop

Well i personally think oblivian is great but if you dont have the moeny just play morrowind til you have the extra cash.

ya, iv herd some ppl say morrowind is better then oblivion is some ways, but ya, if ya aint got the cash, wait till ya do, cus i bet its a friggen awsum game on pc

I was in the same boat about two weeks ago. Bit the bullet and upgraded the motherboard, cpu and video card. Some fairly major dough to do it.
For me it was completely worth it, as the PC is my major entertainment (TV sucks).
The graphics on a decent system are fantastic and game play is excellent, just make sure you install the patch before you bother running it.
If you don't spend much time on your PC then it would probably be cheaper to go out and buy a gaming console and play it on that instead rather than spending big $$$s on upgrading just for one game.

It is a good game and would be worth it.
But if you dont have the money forget about it and keep playing Morrowind. It is still a good game.

I played Morrowind until Oblivion came out. I, personally, think it is worth the money.

I say gradually upgrade your computer, slowly but surely, and then buy Oblivion.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! I’ve managed to buy a new video card (it’s awesome) and now all I need is a new processor (!) before I can finally play oblivion.
