Just to help you visualise certain animals that appear in the world of Mi'intarlo that don't appear in any form IRL. They will be added as they are encountered, along with possible threats they can bring and what they eat. Hopefully I will have an image for each of these beasts and/or people.

Character name~ Elizabeth Squire
Gender- Female Race- Human Age- 22 Height- 5'2" Hair colour- Auburn Eye colour- Hazel
Occupation- Acting captain of the cavalry Weapons- Longsword, lance
History- Tales tell of her bravely rescuing her village from a demon and of defeating the mightiest of dragons. Some tell of her greatest falls and how she really came to power through deceit. Some tell of the truth. Some tell lies. The truth behind Elizabeth's claim to her position is hazy.
It was a mere struggle of will and being in the right place at the right time. She just happened to have experience with animals and just happened to be recruited as a squire to a knight. That was how she came into posession of the magnificent white mare, Katie. It had belonged to the late Sir Tripwood, knight of Isyl.
Most of the tales that are slightly truth tell of her fighting as a squire, which she did. She learnt to fight well with Sir Tripwood and he took her under his wing, teaching her how to ride and even joust.
And all she started off as was a young b*****d child, a tomboy that seemed to grow more reserved through the years, slowly growing to hate confrontation.

Character Name~ Adonnith Scyllrush the Fierce
Gender- Male Race- Human Age- 29 Height- 5'11" Hair colour- Glossy black Eye colour- Dark green
Occupation- Independant knight Weapons- Two handed sword, longsword, spiked gauntlets, lance (tipped)
History- The Scyllrush bloodline originated from far south in the Mi'intarlo region, and there is some talk of them being directly related to royalty, although none of the Scyllrush family have made a claim to power so far. Typically, the symbol of the Scyllrush family has been that of a chained dragon breathing fire, although even this had been changed and altered slightly through the years, Adonnith being the only one still alive to have the chained dragon still on his helmet, although it has a collar as opposed to its feet and arms being chained. This Scyllrush dragon was typically a wingless beast, although now there are one or two that have the new addition of wings.
This chained dragon links the Scyllrush family to the stories of humans hunting down dragons, taming or killing them, and possibly links them further into royalty. A few variations of the story about Kalthazar, the Black Dragon say that the dragon hunter in particular was the king's appointed.
Adonnith in particular is regarded of highly and has earnt himself the title; Kalthazar the Fierce. He has a reputation for casting fear into most men when he draws his doublehanded sword, the blade having a saw-like edge on one side, as well as a particularly lethal hilt to it. Most stories based upon his actions tell that he has never guarded, and indeed he seems to noth bother with shields, instead letting his armour take the brunt of blows. His gauntlets are a sight to behold also, fierce spikes protruding from the knuckles, as well as being shaped into that of a dragon head.

Character Name~ Yserowne Badral-Lucine ----------------------- (first name pronounced; ee-seh-row-en)
Gender- Female(most of the time) Race- Human Age- 18 and a half Height- 5'5" Hair colour- Light brown Eye colour- Dark brown
Occupation- Ranger Weapons- Compound bow, dagger
History- Yse(as she prefers to be called) is one of the youngest in an official military career and has brought much embarrassment to young lords and nobles with her blunt comments and teasing refusals. Quite a few are still attempting to court her, yet nothing seems to get through to her - not even her mother's words.
The Badral family, her father's side, are well-known mercenaries loyal to the Isyl Alliance. This bloodline could account for her young acceptance into service, albeit begrudgingly and with a lot of bargaining, and her interest in weapons. She wasn't allowed to weild a sword or any of the like and so had to make to with learning to fight with a bow, which she has mastered quite gracefully.
The Lucine family, on the other hand, are a purely non-violent kind, merchants and businessmen. Some have even been past advisors to the lord of Isyl-Belyrith. Her mother's side of the family continues to dispute against Yse's current occupation, an ongoing battle between her father's side of mercenaries and her mother's side of merchants. Her parents themselves support her decision, her father liking her interest and encouraging it, whilst her mother attempts to keep her out of trouble and danger.
In past few months, however, her mother has become lax in her duties of making sure she doesn't go out in dangerous positions due to illness. Her father has retired early from his career in order to care for her, Yse gladly handing him most of her pay to help.
