It's a chocobo. I think it is from final fantasy 2.
If you want a Gaara GIF, go to Naruto-Kun.com or maybe NarutoEx.com(doubt it is still there). NarutoEx has a lot. I use to get all the Naruto GIF from there.
And not all GIF that has a red head for a character is Gaara. 4laugh But I hope he is everywhere. Hehe.
