what watsuki wanted was to have Kenji for some reason turn into the ultimate villain and Shinya was going to have to stop him razz
i think it was like the last page of the actual Kenshin part in that volume.

I think Yahiko and Tsubame make a charming couple. I can see a cute teenage love triangle between with Yahiko and Yutaro competing for Tsubame's affections. Of course, Yahiko ultimately wins.

As for Shinya, what I don't get is where the hell does he learn Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu from? By the time he's born, the only ones who know it are Hiko and Kenshin; and of course Kenshin can't use it anymore. So does Shinya learn it from Hiko, or does he perhaps learn it by watching Kenji in secret?

I do wish Kenji and Shinya were a bit closer together in age so they could have a good rivalry growing up, but Kenji has to be at least five years older than Shinya because we know he's born when Yahiko's about 13. Unless Yahiko and Tsubame get married at 14 or 15, Shinya has to be quite a few years younger than Kenji.
