The Essence of Freedom
In today’s society freedom and democracy are often misused In order to justify certain things that at the time are irrelevant, though what do they really mean? True freedom is not as a capitalist such as America would have it is certainly not in the fascist system there are two possible outlets for true freedom to occur one is something that is needs democracy like a fish needs water that is the Communist Economic system for in this system the people control everything. For the people run the government and the government controls every thing there fore the people control everything.The second source of true freedom is anarchy for anarchy is the ultimate freedom it is the true freedom the freedom of freedoms though as
of now humanity can not experience it is to far to grasp. With that being
said Communism also provides a great deal of freedom but not as much as
anarchy.
Though freedom has not gone unnoticed it has many enemies many
people and ideals that would seek to bury it these enemies are numerous
and there are too many to name but they come in different guises. Though
the one great oppressor from the beginning of time has been religion at its
beginning religion though at its very beginning it was really a very innocent
means to describe the world around them but then people began to see
ways to grab power from religion by interpreting and therefore exploiting t
get to positions of power this was the first blow to freedom and as the years
progressed religion became more controlling and fascist in its nature until
you got the medieval church after the protestant reformation we begin to
see philosophers that questioned religion as a institution eventually we see
the enlightened ones otherwise known as atheists.
Freedom is the very essence of human beings as soon as we walk we
want to be independent of our parents because in our minds it creates a
greater sense of freedom. That is why nobody enjoys going to jail because
the human mind yearns for freedom. That is why humans should always
strive for freedom an ideal society can not be achieved with out. In this
way the freest are the animals they know the true beauty of freedom
though it are we so ready to experience true freedom that we give up all
trappings of intellectualism and to resort to barbarianism shall we give away
our ideals and philosophies I should think not for it is the human condition
to advance and that is why we shall never know the unyielding joy that the
animals know for we suffer for our knowledge that is the human condition.
As to point out something what humans experience in an ideal society is
“half freedom” like I stated before only animals know full freedom.
The basis of all freedom is the lack of control or restriction people
hence freedom is not a thing but a lack thereof its very nature is to fill the
void after whatever restriction may arise.
Freedom has another enemy though its attacks are subtle than most
of its counter parts this enemy is what we refer to as ignorance, ignorance
blinds people form the truth with ignorance humans become a very
malleable tool to which a government can spread it lies and double truths t
justify their actions however wrong the may be. Ignorance is one of the
greatest tools the enemy of freedom has they can make humans do just
about everything if they put enough ignorance into a person. Not only does
it make humans what we see today but it is the reason that hatred has
grown
