This is the place to discuss the lovely, slashy relationship between Drs. Eric Foreman and Robert Chase. Share your favourite Foreman/Chase moments from the show, reasons that lead you to support this pairing, when you first noticed the potential between the two, etc. The only real rule is to try not to bash anyone else's 'ships (though I will probably be bad at following that).
I don't remember exactly when I started 'shipping Foreman/Chase, but I know that it was in one of the first few episodes of season two, and I hadn't the foggiest as to why I had never seen it before. I went to the house_slash LiveJournal community and looked for fics. I found a grand total of... zero. I thought I was crazy and abandoned the thought. I can't write well, so I didn't want to post any of my own work. I was so happy when people began writing the pairing, but it's still a bit rare.
I don't have time to write much else at the moment, but later on I will post more of my thoughts and declarations of love for Foreman/Chase. Until then, please share your opinions!

Love it love it love it.
I don't know why I like it so much. I think it's because the first time I went hunting for House slash was just after I'd seen an episode that featured one or two slashy lines between them. I don't remember which episode it was, but I think that Chase and Foreman were doing something for House and didn't want Cuddy to find out, so they told her they were going out for dinner. Cuddy asked to come along, and they said that it was just for the two of them.
No, it's not subtext. But it was kind of funny and it gave me my first taste of Foreman/Chase.
Check the link to my LJ in my signature. I've recced almost all the Foreman/Chase I've been able to find, and I've got everthing well tagged.

Ooh! A person! whee
Yeah, that was a pretty cute moment. I wanna say that episode was "Failure to Communicate", but I'm not sure. I'm at the point where I'm so desperate for Foreman/Chase interaction that I get excited if the two so much as brush against each other in passing.
What do you think Foreman thinks of Chase? We know that he sees/saw Cameron as just a collegue, but he seems more open and friendly to Chase. I think that Chase definitely considers Foreman to be a friend because any family or friends he has are half-way around the world, and we never hear of any dates (except for the one he mentions in "Love Hurts"). I also don't think that a lot of the others in the hospital are overly fond of him, so Foreman seems like the only one that Chase has.
I personally found "Euphoria" to be absolutely heartbreaking. Chase looked so worried and sad when he was talking to Foreman through the wall. He seemed like he genuinely cared about Foreman as a friend, rather than a patient or collegue. I did expect Chase to be there when Foreman woke up, however. I do have the idea, though, that Chase was just so upset that he was hiding, unable to confront the possibility that Foreman would not recognise him when he came out of the coma, or that he might not come out of it at all.
So yes. Foreman/Chase = YAY!!! whee heart

From "Mistakes": Quote: Stacy: Yeah. Why did Chase screw up? (Scene changes, we see she's in a lab, camera pans up and we see she's just asked that question to Foreman) Foreman: Because he doesn't give a crap about patients. Stacy: Well he always gets positive patient reviews. Foreman: Yeah. He smiles all 84 of his teeth, tells them his tonsil story. Stacy: It's a nice story. Foreman: He still has his tonsils. As soon as he's out of the room, which is as soon as he can be out of the room, he starts in on the trash talk. Thinks not giving a crap makes him like House. Like something to aspire to. [Stacy nods] Am I going to have to testify? Stacy: I won't be encouraging them to call you. Foreman does seem friendlier with Chase than with Cameron, but he really doesn't like that Chase sucks up to House. I don't know how friendly they actually are.

One of the sexiest pairings ever... Even though it might be OCC, I can still picture that happening. Truly!!!
Its very sexy paring. And in it being a tad OCC, anything can happen...

Well, maybe it doesn't have to be completely OOC, if they can work it out well. Like having it be as if Foremans fighting his emotions cause he doesn't want to like someone like Chase. Especially him thinking that he likes him just because Chase is handsome. It would be slow, but it could work, with many complications in between. Maybe having Foreman(or both of them) trying to stay straight and pushing their feelings back. It would be an interesting thing to get excited about.

I'm slowly but surely really getting into Chase/Foreman...not like, in the obsessive 'omg, theirloveissosubtextyandcanonandtrue' way that I ship House/Wilson, but as far as ships go it's a great way to explore the kinkier side of things xD
House/Wilson are just too vanilla sometimes. They're old and stuck in their ways...the most you can realistically get out of them is a bit of a tie fetish and a hooker or two...maybe a threesome with Cuddy or Cam...but who counts threesomes as 'kinky' these days, anyway?
>D With Chase/Foreman you can go all out.
And it's hot.
Really, really hot.
=( My only problem is, I have a really hard time imagining their relationship being anything other then casual sex...
