Okae, I know that there is like a three day period during the month that a girl has the greatest chance of getting pregnant. About how long before your period is the "three day thing" I really have no idea what to call it... I think its called ovulation...I just want to know, so that I can avoid this time period.

Ovulation occurs about 13-14 days into your monthly cycle.

And some girls ovulate and then get their period twice in one month. So although most women ovulate once a month, some are irregular and/or ovulate more than once a month. It's a good idea to use condoms and birth control, and to not just plan on avoiding sex during your time of ovulation.
Not to mention sperm can live up to 3 or 4 days inside the body, and some women ovulate more than one egg at once, etc.

I know about that. We use condoms, and the sperm-a-cide, and I'm going to get on the pill soon. (I hope) I just really want to avoid those three-ish days.
