Its not that i dont like emo people, becasue some of them are realy good people on the inside. But i dont try and be anti-emo, i try and get emo people to see that being emo makes them look very bad and that peopele wont want to get to know them, when realy they can be nice, sweet and caring. For example, a girl at my school is VERY emo, but she is only emo becasue her grandmother died and she was very close to her. But on the inside she is a realy nice blond girl(yes, before, she was a preepy regular blonde) But i got to know her and she was extremly polite and caring. But I have other emo friends, but i see the things they get themselfes into, and I want to try and re-direct them. Sorry if they post was too long, but I am just posting my opinion. So please dont flame me.

It is great that some people are not the type of emo that most of us are flaming. And as with all groups there are the exeptions that a lot of people find great, I know a few emos that are really nice, funny, and other things. But they are unfortunatly still just an exception.

Just because your friends Grandmother died and she's depressed, that doesn't make her Emo. That's not what the 'trend' Emo is about. What it's about is promoting people with actual saddness, like that friend of yours. Perhaps maybe she joined the 'Emo' trend because she felt like people 'understood' her there? Like I've said one million six hundred and eighty two times, I don't hate the people. I hate the trend that suddenly sprung out of nowhere and gave a bad name to both underground Emo and ACTUALLY depressed kids. There shouldn't be a trend for people who write bad poetry and whine all the time. Even if someone is in the trend that IS actually depressed, their depression should still not be a trend. That is my opinion.
It's nice that you didn't flame though, and I will respect you by not flaming you in return. But, I do still wonder why you came to an Anti-Emo site Guild to state this. Just had to get your two cents in, eh? : D

I have "emo" friends that were really good people before they got into the emo fad. A lot of "emo" people are just that way because they want to be cool. In a couple of years this fad will go away and be replaced with something more annoying.

When I say I talk to them sometimes, I mean I respond to their questions. I wont usually talk to them cuz i dont usually have anything to say to them.
