Gipperty Flibbits, why is this thread empty?! O_O
Hugh Panaro has got to be one of the sexiest Phantoms. His voice and his movements just make you drop dead with a sigh and blush.
His voice is very strong, but I wonder if it's just me when I say his voice tends to delve into the lower notes in songs. Like he's trying to be a bass and a tenor. He's very entertaining to watch onstage.

XD I watch his performances on Youtube. They're so great! I have a profile of him. Which I hug everytime I see it. XD

STYDI = Stranger Than You Dreamt It... I was bored and didn't want to type the whole thing out.
At any rate, it's amusing. He seems to suddenly decide that he's in a Shakespearean meladrama and thus needs to over-enunciate everything.

I worship the very ground Hugh Panaro walks on. He's a fantastic Erik. I just wish I could have seen him instead of Gary Mauer (I did like Mauer, but it's not the same). Thank God for YouTube.

Thank God for YouTube. Same here... XD I saw Mauer too. I wanted to see Hugh in Lestat, but the musical died before I discovered it.

Yes. I love sharing clips.
The last performance he did of Music of the Night made me want to cry. Sandra Joesph was in tears and it was beautiful. I watch it all the time. I luff his voice. *hugs him again*

The last MotN was fantastic. Although I love his preformance after she faints. You can just see him going 'okay, bad. Um....I'll just leave her then, shall I?' Sigh...I have too much time on my hands.

|If you need me|
I only know of Hugh Panaro because he is so highly spoken of. Thus, due to extreme boredom, lack of decent TV shows and a late-night sugar/caffiene rush aided by insomnia, I found a video of him on Youtube.
This is the video.
It was...different. I won't bash Hugh because he is talented and that is the only video I've seen of him thus far. He just seemed so...so child-like. His stance and posture, how he took the ring from the woman playing Christine, the way he sang. His voice reminded me of Joel Grey a little, and he did over-enunciate. It was so obviously exaggerated.

PhantomoftheFox STYDI = Stranger Than You Dreamt It... I was bored and didn't want to type the whole thing out. At any rate, it's amusing. He seems to suddenly decide that he's in a Shakespearean meladrama and thus needs to over-enunciate everything. I've never been to see the stage show (although I REEEEEAAAAALLY want to go see it), but I have heard some recordings of Hugh Panaro. He has an awesome voice *dreamy sigh.* But I do agree that at certain parts, he does seem to over-enunciate things. Like in a Shakespearean melodrama. But besides that, I must say, he has a beautiful voice. *sighs dreamily again and faints* By the way, if anyone starts to wonder how I listened to recordings of him, when there are apparently no recordings of him as the Phantom for sale, I downloaded them from LimeWire. They are from a live performance.

Hugh Panaro rocks. His voice and his acting make it seem like he really IS Erik, I love his preformances. That is why I am grateful to Youtube.
