I wanted to play Rhapsody years ago but didn't have any money and my friend told me not to get it, but as a shoujo anime fan I always wanted it. Before leaving to Japan, one of my dearest friends gave it to me me as a present and I managed to play it. He also gave me this site
http://www.ayashii.com/angelpresentwhich lists the other Marl Kingdom games. Marjoly is originally from Rhapsody I think thats cool.
Little Princess (Rhapsody 2) stars Cornets daughter who she name Kururu. She is also trying to find love and go on an adventure like her mother did. You meet most of the same puppets but actually get controllable human party members and Kururu can learn many new attacks.
In Angels Present you play many stories starting with a Cornet and Puppet Kururu side story where Etoile Rosenqueen Joins your party. you can literally have up to 12 chars on the field with the new system that involves 4 leader characters with 3 partners behind them. As a result dozens of combination attacks are possible. This game is traditional turn based so no moving across the field as in Rhapsody. Its pretty easy to understand if you know some Katakana and Hiragana but the Kanji kills me. I have studied Japanese for 3 years but I need more Kanji practice but what better place to get practice than here in Japan.
Since La Pucelle (which came out before Disgaea in Japan) was successful people should petition Nipon Ichi or whomever for Angel's Present.
Any questions on the 2 games?
