I went to check on the dryer to see if my towels were done (it wasn't done) and it was making this perfectly looped mechanical rhythm. I just needed a sampler so fraggin' bad right there and then.

Are there anytimes when you wish you could have had a sampler to record a sound that you don't get very often?

last summer when the cicadas came out I so wish I had a sampler and recorder.

Minneapolis is often said to have 2 seasons: winter and construction. During the latter, I often find myself wishing for a sampler.

Oregon is like that. Exept it rains instead of snows in the winter.

I so wish I had a sampler with some of the things I hear. There's a can machine (where one pusts in refundable cans and bottles for a lil' bit of money) that sometimes makes the sweetest crunching sounds I ever heard, and that one time when it malfunctioned.
