I'm a gamer who enjoys finding out interesting things about games. I spend a lot of time on the finding out about glitches, cameos or interesting appearances. I build up a knowledge bank of useless gaming facts. xp

Uber 1337 Gamzor.
Once I get good at a game I am total pwnage. Goldeneye, CBFD, FFVII, and Halo are examples.

I'm the "Really-Annoying-To-Play-With-Gamer" because I don't take anything seriously. >>;
I play with Pichu in SSBM, for the love of God. (and kick a**, on that note.) In Zelda, I'll be content for about an hour and a quarter to run into trees in Hyrule field. (the sound!! <3)
Ugh. But that's only sometimes. Actually, I have no idea what kind or rank of gamer I am. I like to fight. And run around. And make noise. And find every secret in a game.
But I also get the job done. 3nodding

Were I to give myself a gaming title that emphasizes my biggest gaming trait, I would call myself the 'Man With A (Single-Player) Mission' gamer. I've always cared deeply about the single-player modes in my games, and I really consider multiplayer to be unimportant compared to campaign modes and storylines. With my internet unable to play online games, my only real significant multiplayer experiences are in Super Smash Bros. Melee (Hurrah for Falco), Perfect Dark (best console FPS multiplayer mode ever created because you didn't have to either fight with just four people, get together 16 people capable of coming up with three other Xboxes and three other copies of Halo, or have an online connection you can only get in places I don't live xp ), and, in the good old days, Super Mario Kart (oh the days I spent playing that game against my little sister...).
The 'Man With A Mission' part comes from the fact that, when I get either a new game or decide to pick back up one of the games in my collection, I do not relent in playing that game until the final boss/level/etc. is crumbled at my feet. This is especially true with new games, which I'll play for hours on end. I'm also a bit of a softie gamer, at least when it comes to my own characters; I've yet to cry or anything like that during a sad sequence in a game, but in Knights of the Old Republic I actually have reservations about making the Dark Side choices in conversation sweatdrop Yeah, I know, sounds pathetic. I've generally no such qualms when helping my little sister on her game files though; when I was helping with Majora's Mask recently I marched around Clock Town using the Bremen Mask until there were 2 seconds till the moon impacted, then played the Song of Time blaugh
I have no illusions about being the best, or even being good. I consider myself to be above average (perhaps even that is embellishing myself), as I have only achieved a general state of dominance or equality, depending on the game, with about 4 other people (one being my little sister, who's a bit of a pushover but can surprise you every now and then). Since I live 2 hours from Vegas, I have considered looking into entry into some kind of gaming tournament for, say, SSBM, but I don't know if that will ever be pushed through. Right now, I am content to be an above average 'Man With A (Single-Player) Mission' gamer whose morals occasionally interfere with the decisions he makes regarding polygons with dialogue xp

Actually, Naaro, I kinda do the same thing with the choices... sweatdrop You're not alone. I just feel kinda strongly about sticking to my morals... I'm wierd like that.
And another quick addition to my earlier post: I can get pretty decent at a game very quickly, because I've been an avid gamer since about first grade and have played many different games, but to get really good I have to play the game a lot over a fair amount of time, and fairly extensively. Yeah, ok quickly, long time to get really good.

Psycho.
whatever I do, I do it in the hopes of getting a huge kill count, like, say, in Fable, going around with a Broad sword, KILLING innocent old men, and just decapitating any guards that come at me.

Ah. Come to think of it, whenever I try playing a game from long time ago, I somehow manage to get better each time I play it again, after like.. years of not even touching. o_o Which is cool. LoL.
I use the same skill for many other things as well, such as making programs in your graphic calculators to cheat during tests.. LoL. XD

I'd give them to other people, too. My teachers had NO problem with my scandalously comprehensive programs. xd They said the if you had them, go ahead and use them. On some things, I didn't have to think at all. 3nodding
